Rusty fuel Tank

Have a pretty rusty old(1968) fuel tank 75 litres, delivery was fast 3 days. Took 2 days to complete. good instruction. If i can give you one tip its turn the sealer can upside down when you get it. It'll make stirring it up alot easier. I used a battery drill with a little paddle and there was still stuff in the bottom of the tin when i poured it in the tank.

Works well

Had a fuel tank in our Pontiac that was fairly gnarly inside. Strapped it to a concrete mixer and pre-cleaned the insides with some chainsaw blades and stainless steel bolts that I had. Then proceeded to follow the instructions supplied with the kit. All pretty easy to follow, just read thoroughly. Ensure the tank is dried thoroughly before putting in the final coat. Used a heat gun and it worked well. The final sealer goes a long way, so spent time rotating the tank periodically to ensure full coverage before tipping out the excess. It sets really hard so tap out any screw holes before refitting components (drain plug, sender unit, etc). Overall very pleased with the kit. Recommended.
